Chris Pitman: The Hyena

The stories that have been sent to me by fellow workmates and acquaintances of Chris Pitman. This is update three, you can read all the updates here, or if you are new here, I suggest that you start from the beginning.

No. 4 Squadron

A couple of stories from past a workmate.

I tried to avoid him for the most part due to him being one of the biggest morons I have ever worked with.

Chris was known to regularly send pictures of his genitals to girls in the Squadron, as well as girls on Base, so it's no surprise he fell on his sword and got kicked out for it. I can also vouch for the borrowing money and never paying it back. He also used to borrow things like tools and camping gear off blokes at work and never return them.

He actually borrowed a car from one of the guys, which broke down somewhere across the Hay Plain on the way to Adelaide, and Chris left it there by the side of the road. Zero attempt to get it towed to the closest town. The car was trashed and is probably still sitting where he left it. Chris never offered to help with the cost or chip in for a new car.

Chris was caught twice having cocaine in his system during work prohibited substance testing. The only thing that stopped him getting a notice to show cause/kicked out was he played the mental health card. He got sent to the psych hospital in Wollongong back in 2021 because of the second positive drug test.

This was just before he went to Canberra and to Federation Guard (which is where the France incidents happened, you can read about that here).

The Commando taken down by a Hyena - we were on exercise in Darwin one year and there were a bunch of backpackers at this pub we were at. Chris beelines straight for them and spilled the usual rubbish into their ear. He told them that he was a commando and that he had spent the last few months in Kenya with the military there.

One of the boys overheard him bragging about how he lived in the wild for a few weeks and made friends with a hyena, who followed him around like some real life Jungle Book. Then one night the hyena attacked him and he was airlifted back to Australia to recover from hyena bites.

Luckily the girls saw through his rubbish and told him to move on!

This carved out a new SOP (standard operating procedure) for the boys. Whenever the bullshit meter starts to rise while he is talking crap, they ask the hard question's:

"Is he telling the truth or do we have another hyena on our hands?"

"On the scale of truth and hyena, where are we sitting?"

The Home Wrecker

A few stories have been brought up which all have a similar play by play. It seems that Chris has the one "pickup" playbook that he uses over and over again.

I think it is in the public's interest to know the repeated behaviour of Chris. Also you might want to keep your partner away from him.

Chris meets women and gets their socials or he will cold slide into DM's of women who have partners or even married. He then starts by playing the nice guy who is down on his luck. He will then use his history of poor mental health to get sympathy from the women and get them invested in his health.

Making them feel a sense of responsibility to help him get through the tough time hes had. He will try find out any struggles she has in her relationship and pretend that he is there for her and that he wants to help. But we all know where this is going!

He will then slow start to sexuality the conversion, getting more and more aggressive with his advances with the goal of soliciting nude photos from the women or even an affair.

Additional note:

There was report done in the UK called SILENCING STUDENTS: INSTITUTIONAL RESPONSES TO STAFF SEXUAL MISCONDUCT IN UK HIGHER EDUCATION.

It outlined the pattern of misconduct and how predators action subtle boundary-blurring or “grooming” behaviours to get what they want out of their victims. In my option, Chris utilises common tactics that are used by predators world wide.

It is an interesting read if you want to get an idea of how predators behaviour and how you can identify if you are being groomed.

The High Flying Business Man

I have been given word that The Bookshop Boys are no more!

There has been a falling out at the Broken Hill Bookshop and Chris is no longer employed there. He has been reporting that he now makes money from a number of businesses that he has started.

After a quick search, it doesn't look like he has registered for an Australian Business Number (ABN), therefore he would not be working under a registered business.

This leads people to think that he is just living off his girlfriend's wages. A flight attendant from Sydney, NSW.
