A growing list of Facebook/Meta scams that are currently running in Australia.

The Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS)

The scammer will tell you that your owned money by DHHS. They will make you contact a DHHS Agent within Facebook, where they will grab information from you and then try get you to buy Gift Cards to claim your money. Read more here.

Business Page Scheduled for Deactivation

You may receive a Facebook message or Text message telling you that your page has violated Meta T&C and Community Guidelines. Without action by you the page will be deactivated. There will be a link to review the claim which leads to a ".me" domain.
